Chamisa, Mandaza in an unholy alliance

MDC-Alliance leader, Nelson Chamisa has roped in Ibbo Mandaza as his chief political advisor, a source has revealed.

Mandaza, Executive Chairman of the Southern Africa Political Economy Series (SAPES) Trust has been involved in failed political projects in the past such as Mavambo.Kusile.Dawn (M.K.D) Party.

Source revealed that the nearing of the 2023 elections has led  Chamisa to surround himself with political “experts”.

“Chamisa is now a desperate soul.  He has engaged Mandaza as his chief political advisor,” the source said

Adding that, “Chamisa thinks Mandaza will take him to the Promised Land although history shows otherwise”

Mandza’s first ever political contest came in 2008 when he was vying for a House of Assembly seat representing Mazowe West as an independent candidate but lost the election.  Mandaza has also been in the news several times for his political comments some of which he claimed that Robert Mugabe would lose the 2013 presidential race.

Chamisa’s political career is currently at its lowest ebb, boggled by his loss of Morgan Tsvangirai House to the Thokozani Khupe faction and the recalling of some MDC-Alliance members from Parliament by Khupe.
