Zanu PF Mash Central’s cell verification exercise proceeds smoothly

The ongoing Zanu PF cell verification exercise is progressing smoothly in Mashonaland Central Province, with an overwhelming response from Party members, this publication has observed.

Over the weekend, large numbers of Zanu PF supporters gathered at various locations across Mt Darwin, including Mt Darwin Urban, Tsakare, Chesa, and other areas, to participate in the crucial exercise.

Speaking to this publication, Zanu PF Mashonaland Central Provincial Political Commissar, Paul Kamukombe said the high turnout demonstrated the Party’s strength in the Province.

"The overwhelming response we are witnessing is a clear indication that Zanu PF remains deeply rooted in Mashonaland Central Province. This exercise is vital as it allows us to assess the growth of our support base and ensure our structures are well-organised ahead of future electoral processes," Kamukombe said.

The cell verification exercise is part of Zanu PF’s broader strategy to strengthen its grassroots structures and consolidate its membership database.

The ruling party has emphasised the importance of the exercise in maintaining an accurate and up-to-date record of its supporters, which is critical for effective mobilisation and planning.

In Mt Darwin Urban, Zanu PF District Chairperson,Abraham Bakari echoed these sentiments, highlighting the significance of the verification process in reinforcing party unity and discipline.
