Norton independent legislator, Temba Mliswa has rubbished fake news circulating on social media which alleges that the First Lady, Amai Auxillia Mnangagwa was involved in a tiff with MDC-T leader, Dr Thokozani Khupe during Amai Mnangagwa's son, Emmerson Tanaka's wedding ceremony over the weekend.

The message claims that Amai Mnangagwa confronted Dr Khupe and accused her of being in an adulterous relationship with her husband, President Emmerson Mnangagwa.

Commenting on the rumours, Mliswa posted on his twitter handle, "Just when you thought you had heard it all along comes a tale like no other. The fake story doing the rounds on social media platforms regarding a purported scuffle between the First Lady and Khupe is so ludicrous one has to question the mental state of the author."

Mliswa went on, "The lie is malicious and intended to mar what was otherwise a well planned and executed wedding ceremony."

There has been a rise in fake news circulating on social media targeting the First Family in a bid to tannish its image to the citizens and international community.
