Zanu PF delivering before elections

Budiriro residents yesterday had a feel of ZANU PF deliverables when the ruling party’s aspiring legislator for that constituency, Cde Godwin Gomwe facilitated the restoration of electricity after going for months without power.

Cde Gomwe in solidarity with other Budiriro residents, braved the chilly night of 4 July 2018 as they stood-by watching over the electricians restoring power up until 2200 hours.

Popularly known as ‘Commander Gomwe’, the ZANU PF candidate was showered with praises when power was finally restored. One Baba Delroy who was interviewed by the Harare Post, submitted that “if Cde Gomwe could do such exploits before being in office, what shall we benefit if we vote wisely? Ngatishambadzirei nezva MP wedu nemabasa avakaita uye avarikuita. Haikona kunyara navo nekuti Gomwe wacho idomasi rinotengeseka.”

Ngonya Mangwenya confirmed the developments, positing that “ichokwadi takabva navo husiku vachitonhorwa ZESA ichiisa transformer varipo. Haa zvakanakidza mayouth aivepo vaiimba vachishambadza MP vedu. Zvakaita chiremera zvikuru.”

Budiriro is known for being an MDC-T stronghold, a tradition Gomwe has vowed to break in the forthcoming general election through working and delivering for the people of that constituency. Gomwe has spearheaded many development projects in Budiriro and empowered the youths through various initiatives.

Efforts to get a comment from Gomwe before going to print were fruitless.
