President Mnangagwa said that the responsible stakeholders that include, the Ministry of Lands, Agriculture, Water and Rural Resettlement and Zimbabwe National Water Authority (ZINWA) must deal with the water crisis. He ordered that the stakeholders come with a detailed and comprehensive proposal to solve the water challenges.

President Mnangagwa said that the proposal should outline the major challenges which included water delivery in the City and sewer management.

The cost and the overall budget are expected to be brought to President Mnangagwa for his attention as soon as possible in the interest of bringing water to BCC.

The President also went on to dialogue with the Matabeleland Collective where he heard the issues affecting the region and appraised of the progress in the implementation of agreed resolutions.
