I will do my best for Zim –Ambassador Angel

Newly appointed Presidential Envoy and Ambassador at large to the Americas and Europe, Prophet Uebert Angel, has said that he is ready to use his worldwide connections to assist in the fulfillment of President Mnangagwa’s Vision 2030 of achieving an Upper Middle Economy Status by year 2030.

Ambassador Angel thanked President Mnangagwa for entrusting him with a mandate to represent Zimbabwe in America and Europe.

“I want to take this time to thank His Excellency, President Emmerson Mnangagwa for entrusting me with a broad mandate to represent and advance Zimbabwe’s strategic national interests in line with Vision 2030 which stipulates that Zimbabwe is on its way to becoming an Upper Middle Income Economy.

“I know beyond depth and beyond height that the platform I have enables me to perform my duties as the Ambassador at Large to Europe and the Americas in collaboration with non-State actors, State actors and also key entities particularly from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade and of course, the Office of the President and Cabinet,” said Ambassador Angel.

Angel said his service to the country will be premised on the old adage that says, “Ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country”.

“It is paramount to note that I embrace the old adage  that says  ,ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country,” said Ambassador Angel.

Meanwhile, citizens have applauded President Mnangagwa for appointing Ambassador Angel saying that the presence of a Man of God within Government circles is a positive move.

“Thank you President Mnangagwa for appointing Prophet Angel as Ambassador. This shows that you do have respect for God and his servants as many people in your position they don’t recognize or respect man of God especially, said Nonzane Mayinjana.

Kolag Jonathan Yin said, “There will be massive change in Zimbabwe. Congratulations to the President for taking this wise decision of appointing Prophet Angel”.

Tiny Mabusela said President Mnangagwa has shown the world that even prophets are needed in Government.

“We thank God for His Excellency, President Mnangagwa for appointing the Prophet of God as ambassador. Great things are about to happen. God will make Zimbabwe a great nation as things will be revealed through his servant Prophet Angel,” said Mabusela.

Since taking the Presidential oath in 2017, President Mnangagwa has worked closely with various clergymen in his pursuit of a peaceful country and a stable economy.
