The MDC Alliance is plotting to unleash arson attacks in Masvingo in retaliation to the alleged blockade of Nelson Chamisa’s convoy in that province this week.

A source within the MDC Alliance confided in this publication that the MDC Alliance had resolved to torch houses belonging to all ZANU PF members suspected to have participated in the alleged blockade of Chamisa’s convoy.

“The party (MDC Alliance) resolved to send youths in Masvingo to retaliate the harassment of president Chamisa. The youths are going this week and they will target houses belonging to ZANU PF members who participated in the blockade and attack of Chamisa,” said the source.

The source said the youths brigade would be led by Harare councilor, Denford Ngadziore and would be composed of members of ZINASU and other party youths.

“Councilor Ngadziore will lead the youths that are going for a revenge mission in Masvingo. The intention is to send a signal to ZANU PF that we can do far much worse things than them. It’s high time we fight fire with fire. We will reduce their homes in Masvingo to shells,” said the source.

Last year, a leaked audio recording of expelled Bulawayo Women’s Assembly chairperson, Tendai Masotsha revealed stunning details of how MDC Alliance activist Tawanda Muchehiwa and other youths had planned a wave of terror that involved burning Government buildings.

Efforts to get a comment from MDC Alliance national spokesperson Fadzayi Mahere and her deputy Gift Siziba were futile as their mobile phones were not reachable.
