President Mnangagwa has urged all ZANU PF supporters to be ambassadors of the Party and to recruit new members ahead of the 2023 elections.

Addressing multitudes of ZANU PF supporters in Bulawayo yesterday, President Mnangagwa urged Party supporters to register to vote and to eventually vote for the Party in the forthcoming elections.

“How many do we have here who have registered to vote? May those who have registered to vote lift up their hands. If we want ZANU PF to remain in power, we should register to vote,” said the President.

President Mnangagwa added that each member of ZANU PF was expected to mobilise new members so that the Party could secure its five million vote target.

“Your Chairman, Cde Jabulani Sibanda told you that each one of you must bring at least five new voters. So we must listen to what he teaches you because he teaches you the Party’s doctrine,” added the President.

The President told the gathering that ZANU PF was the only Party that fought for the liberation and independence of the people of Zimbabwe and said that it was the duty of each citizen to keep the legacy of Zimbabwe.

The President added that the country’s legacy and heritage can only be preserved by voting for ZANU PF. He urged Party members to adhere to the Party’s ideology and to promote peace and unity.

Meanwhile, President Mnangagwa is expected to address a Presidential Star Rally in Gwanda today. He is also expected to commission some projects at Caledonia Mining Corporation in that district.
