The private sector continues to work together with the Government so as to fulfill the nation`s agenda of accomplishing Vision 2030.

In a recent development, Oxford Properties in conjunction with the Government completed the Aspire Heights Housing Development Project in Aspindale Park which was officially opened by President Emmerson Mnangagwa yesterday.

Speaking at the official opening yesterday, President Mnangagwa highlighted that the project was an eye opener and a good example for other players in the private sector.

"This project is an eye opener to many and a testimony of how the private sector is complementing my Administration's efforts to make sure we use land sparingly through the adoption of new technologies and building vertically to minimise space.

"I therefore commend Oxford Property for complementing Government efforts with regards providing expanded diversified and state of the art housing options for the country's home seekers", said President Mnangagwa.

President Mnangagwa commended the private sector for working hand in glove and acknowledged the Madokero Mall which he commissioned in December 2022.

"I am enthused that the development of over 1200 residential stands, a commercial centre as well as the ongoing development of 152 high end residential apartments comes a few months after I commissioned the Madokero Mall in Harare," said President Mnangagwa.

The Government is on track to surpass its target to deliver 220 000 housing units by 2025 leveraging on partnerships with the private sector and new technology in the human settlement. This has been witnessed by other partnerships the Government has entered with other private institutions such as Shelter Afrique.
