Allegations of extortion and misuse of funds have rocked Nelson Chamisa's camp, with trusted lieutenant Gift 'Ostallos' Siziba facing scrutiny over purported demands for 'tithes' from opposition members eyeing prominent positions in the yet-to-be-launched political party.

A source close to the matter has revealed details of Siziba's alleged extortionate activities, suggesting a breach of trust and abuse of influence within Chamisa's inner circle.

According to the source, Siziba has been leveraging his proximity to Chamisa, insinuating that he holds sway over the composition of the national leadership of the upcoming party.

"Siziba has been approaching opposition members, claiming he has the ear of Chamisa and can influence the selection process for key party positions,” said the source.

It is alleged that Siziba has been soliciting for 'tithes' ranging from US$500 to US$1000 from aspirants vying for influential roles within Chamisa’s yet-launched party, thus exploiting their aspirations for personal gain.

Furthermore, the source revealed that Siziba has resorted to coercive tactics, threatening to brand those unwilling to comply with his demands as anti-Chamisa, effectively jeopardizing their chances of considered for leadership positions. "Siziba's tactics are not only unethical but also potentially damaging to the integrity of the party," the source commented.

The source further claimed that the allegations against Siziba extend beyond extortion, with reports indicating misappropriation of monetary donations intended for funding assembly meetings across the country.

“Siziba has been diverting funds received from Western Embassies, intended to support grassroots mobilization efforts, for personal use. Siziba's actions betray the trust of both party members and donors, undermining the integrity of the movement.

“The emergence of these allegations poses a significant challenge to Chamisa's leadership, casting a shadow over the credibility and ethical standards within his inner circle. With the party's launch on the horizon, the need for transparency and accountability has never been more critical," the source lamented.

Efforts to reach Siziba for comment on the allegations were unsuccessful at the time of reporting.

However, the revelations have sparked widespread concern among party members and stakeholders, calling for a thorough investigation into the matter.
