DA leader Maimene not aware of Zim`s situation

South Africa`s opposition party Democratic Alliance (DA) leader, Mmusi Maimane has no tangible evidence to support his press briefing. Maimane talks about Zimbabweans exercising their democratic rights to protest but he does not know that it was the hooligans who protested in the name of peaceful demonstrations. The looters and thugs who wanted to rob people`s wealth are the ones he terms Zimbabweans demonstrating their democratic rights.

In contrast President of South Africa Cyril Ramaphosa who has inside information on what is going in Zimbabwe indicated that Zimbabwe is a democratic country with leadership that walks the talk. It is unfortunate that MDC leader Nelson Chamisa is providing the outside countries with lies because he want to achieve his personal goals. Ramaphosa has implicated the challenges being faced by Zimbabweans right now to sanctions given to Zimbabwe in 2000 by United States of America (USA).

In his press statement Maimane said that Ramaphosa is quiet about Zimbabwe`s situation but this is not it. One can easily tell that this is being said by someone who does not have knowledge about what is going on in Zimbabwe. Maimane is just one of South Africa`s opposition leaders.

Ramaphosa who is the President of South Africa said that sanctions are blocking Zimbabwe`s capability to perform economically. He added to say South Africa has had several discussions to see how best Zimbabwe can be assisted.

Speaking to reporters on Zimbabwe situation Ramaphosa said, “We are involved in serious discussions to see how best any form of assistance can be made available to Zimbabwe. We have not yet reached a conclusion.”

Contrary to Ramaphosa`s statement, Maimane in his press statement said, “Cyril Ramaphosa`s ANC Government has sat on its hands and watched on, employing its “quiet diplomacy” policy” Maimane want the world to rubbish everything said by President Ramaphosa but he is a mere opposition who thrives on fabrication of lies. Nothing good will come out of his mouth. Maimane is now working in support of Chamisa as they are both friends in the opposition.

He thinks he has the power to work with Chamisa to topple the Government in power. An opposition party has no power. Maimane`s utterances show that he is not knowledgeable with what is happening in Zimbabwe. He is living with what Chamisa feeds him.

MDC is known to have worked in cahoots with Zimbabwe Congress of Trade Union to cause the 14 to 16 January violence. This violence resulted in the loss of property and looting of commodities in shops countrywide.

Maimane is clueless he needs to ask the rightful people on the on goings in Zimbabwe. He goes on to say that President Ramaphosa and President Mnangagwa are cut from the same cloth and South Africa and Zimbabwe share very similar stories.”

He uttered these sentiments because he is an opposition leader and wants the outside world to discredit the good that Ramaphosa will talk about Zimbabwe. The world need to understand that opposition parties` judgements are biased. Only a fool can listen to utterances of an opposition leader. Opposition parties are failures. They seek to gain popularity through castigating ruling parties. It only takes a wise person to understand this.

Maimane is planning to visit Chamisa who is also a mere opposition and clueless leader .Maimane himself is nothing to Zimbabwe. Zimbabweans will not listen to this DA leader. The information he will get from Chamisa about Zimbabwe`s Government will not be constructive and will be full of lies.

Maimane`s DA is a racist party which is supported by the Afrikaans and white community in South Africa. It does not have support from the blacks in South Africa. Leaders of the DA, as well as its members have been accused of making racially insensitive comments. DA House of Assembly Member Dianne Kohler Barnard was briefly expelled from the party because of statements she made on her Facebook page apparently praising Pieta. Willem. Botha who was the President of South Africa since 1978 to 1989.

One can deduce that Maimane`s agenda to Zimbabwe is to divide the Zimbabweans. His ideology are not in support of blacks. This can be seen by the DA`s record of spearheading racism in South Africa.
