Internal squabbles within the MDC Bulawayo Provincial Assembly rages on with the executive members resorting to exposing and shaming each other on social media platforms, Harare Post has learnt.

The latest development is that MDC Provincial Assembly Organising Secretary, Helen Zivira exposed her boss, Bulawayo Provincial Chairlady, Tendai Masotsha accusing her of greediness and loose morals.

According to close sources within the opposition party, Zivira accused Masotsha on WhatsApp group administered by the party`s Provincial Administrative Committee (PAC), of running a prostitution agency where she organises female youths for senior male leaders for a fee

The squabbles have turned that ugly to the extent of big names like Job Sikhala, Chalton Hwende among others being implicated in the scandal.

Zivira, according to the sources, is doing this to attract attention and gain favours from the national leadership.

It is reported that Zivira went on to sensationally claim that Masotsha`s husband, Mthukusi Masotsha at one point impregnated his own daughter which they allegedly later aborted.

Zivira is said to have also accused Masotsha of being a sell-out by incorporating members from a rival faction led by former MDC Provincial Chairperson Gift Banda.

Apparently the two belong to MDC Bulawayo Provincial Chairperson, James Sithole`s faction. It is also alleged that Masotsha reported the issue to Welshman Ncube who is not in good books with Zivira.

Tribalism and corruption allegations within the MDC Bulawayo chapter has threatened to tear apart the already distressed opposition party as leadership and councillors continue to trade accusations during party meetings and on social media platforms as in Zivira and Masotsha`s case.
