#TysonWabantu movement planning to force a re-run

Tyson wabantu`s prime objective is to force a re-run in the coming 2023 harmonised elections by adding to number of contesting political parties that will eat into Zanu PF basket, a close source within the movement has revealed.

The source said all the opposition parties would be forced to unite against Zanu PF in the event of a re-run as the only option to remove the ruling party.

According to the source, their political game plan is to forge an alliance with some fringe political parties like National Patriotic Front (NPF) and Zimbabwe Partnership for Prosperity (ZIPP). The source further revealed that Saviour Kasukuwere`s close allies are busy doing the ground work for the movement. These include Admire Ruzanhi who is likely to be elected the movement`s Chairperson, Wisper Ganya who is the aspiring Deputy Chair and Kelvin Tashaya aspiring Youth Chair.

Contact said the movement`s king-pins are also busy identifying G40 members in Zanu PF who they want to use to destabilise the ruling party ahead of 2023 election.  The contact said the movement was not happy with the formation of a new political party by Walter Mzembi.

However, they are planning to have bargaining powers in 2023 to reduce Zanu PF votes in Masvingo where they think Mzembi is popular. He also said the movement was also expecting that Kasukuwere, because of his support in Mashonaland Central, will also reduce Zanu PF votes in the province.

The source said that the movement`s leadership frantically tried to meet South Africa Minister of International relations, Naledi Pandor but she rebutted the move because of the relationship the movement has with South African opposition party, Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF).

Another hard rock likely to affect the activities of the movement in South Africa is that country`s refugee law which says that “ no refugee or asylum seeker may participate in any political activity or campaign in furtherance of any political party or political interest in South Africa.”

According to a contact in South Africa, the law was directed at Mzembi and Kasukuwere and is likely to force them to come home to pursue their political activities.
