Panic grips CCC

Panic has gripped Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) with members becoming impatient with Nelson Chamisa’s lack of political plan ahead of this year’s plebiscite.

A CCC insider who spoke to this publication said that members were afraid that CCC will lose the forthcoming elections due to Chamisa’s lack of preparedness.

According to the source, CCC members were expecting Chamisa to unveil that party’s electoral plan in January this year but nothing happened with Chamisa continuing to address his followers in riddles and parables.

“People are becoming impatient with Chamisa as he has not yet revealed CCC’s 2023 electoral plans. Members are afraid that Chamisa’s delay in unveiling the electoral plan will cause the party’s defeat at the polls. People are now panicking as it is becoming clearer that CCC will struggle in the forthcoming elections,” said the source.

The source added that some CCC senior members were contemplating approaching Chamisa to ask him to take the forthcoming elections seriously as his lackadaisical approach to this year’s elections was worrisome.

The same source further claimed that some CCC members were wishing for the return of Job Sikhala from prison so that he can steer that party to electoral victory as Chamisa has proved to be a political toddler.

According to the source, CCC was currently disjointed with no capacity to mount an effective campaign to challenge ZANU PF’s dominance on the country’s political arena.

Meanwhile, on several occasions Chamisa has been telling his supporters to be patient with him arguing that he was playing his political cards close to his chest. He has been repeatedly claiming that he has a grand plan for the elections, although people now doubt his capacity as an opposition leader.
