‘Victory is certain for President Mnangagwa.’

Legislator for Seke-Chikomba and aspiring House of Assembly representative for Chikomba West constituency, Tatenda Mavetera has declared that President Emmerson Mnangagwa would win the 2023 harmonized election resoundingly.

Addressing ZANU PF members while distributing presidential regalia in ward 7, Manhize district, Mavetera stated that President Mnangagwa would win the 2023 elections because people had confidence in his leadership.

“I am so confident with the outcome of ZANU PF party come August 23. President Mnangagwa is going to win the 2023 election resoundingly. He has done so much pertaining to people-centered projects. The president is for the people and is concerned with the welfare of the people. The people have confidence in him.

“Our first vote is the president followed by the House of Assembly member, then lastly the councillor. No House of Assembly member should have more votes than the president,” said Mavetera.

Mavetera further implored the youths to be peaceful and shun drugs. She said that the youths must focus more on building the country through the empowerment projects which the Second Republic is delivering.

Zimbabwe will go for elections on August 23, 2023.The date for a run-off for the election of the office of the President in the event such an election become necessary was slated for October 2, 2023.This is in terms of section38(1)(a)(iii) of the Electoral Act.
