A leaked memo between MDC leader, Nelson Chamisa and that party’s Youth Assembly Chair, Obey Sithole has revealed a dirt plan by the party to unleash an orgy of violence in the country, The Harare Post can report.

High level party officials who spoke to The Harare Post on the basis of anonymity, revealed to the this publication that MDC intends to unleash an orgy of violence in Harare starting from Monday 19 January 2019.

“President Chamisa said he will hold his SONA on 21 January 2020, but that date is just but a decoy as nationwide demonstrations are expected to be unleashed on 19 January 2020,” said the sources.

Information in possession of this publication indicates that the MDC is intending to pull the popcorn strategy which was used in the Serbian Popovic’s mercenary plan to stretch the Police.

Chamisa’s intended SONA was deferred after the Police barred it citing they were overwhelmed with the back to school business.
In the leaked memo, Chamisa indicated to his Youth Assembly leader that the Police were now undermining their (MDC) existence and therefore would hold their SONA with or without the clearance from the police.

On his Twitter timeline, he posted, “ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. We’ve exhausted all channels. We can't continue to be victims of unjust application of the law. Rights are for all. On Tuesday 21st Jan we will deliver the people’s Agenda 2020 to the nation come what may.#peoplesgovernment.”

According to some sources from the MDC National Standing Committee, the demonstration mulled by the party will be targeting at destroying property of ZANU PF members and those sympathetic to the party, blocking roads, harassing the public and looting shops.
The demonstration will be led by Sithole, his deputy Cecilia Chimbire and Secretary General, Gift Ostallos Siziba.

The same strategy to be employed by MDC was once employed last year in the same month between 14 and 16 January 2019.
