More details pointing to violent demo emerge

The United States of America (USA) has once again been fingered in the supporting and financing of the planned violent demonstrations scheduled for 31 July, the Harare Post can report.

Leaked minutes seen by this publication of a meeting held between Jacob Ngarivhume, one of the demo organizers and the US Embassy officials marked ‘secret,’ in May, revealed that the grand plan was to set up a coalition government after the violent demonstrations.

“Yesterday we had a meeting with Jacob Ngarivhume as directed. He agreed to our arrangement and the date for the Zimbabwe Revolution Phase 1 had been set,” reads part of the minutes.

“It is expected that all other CSOs and opposition political parties will jump in seeking recognition and a possible power sharing deal after the activity. It is prudent that no action to address the people’s grievances by the ZANU PF Government has been undertaken and measures to that effect are in place.”

The report further revealed that explosives will be distributed and used during the demonstrations with “identity and location of improvised explosive device to cell members and leaders of the demo,” having been completed.

The minutes show that Ngarivhume will lead the demonstration while individuals who include Promise Mukwananzi and Obey Sithole will be responsible for distributing the said explosives from Eastlea.

Meanwhile, Police have arrested Ngarivhume in connection with his role in the planned illegal demonstration on 31 July.
