Mutami a US proxy for regime change in Zim

The United States (US) has resorted to using promiscuous proxy, Susan Mutami to effect regime change in Zimbabwe.

US has invited scandal ridden Mutami who is based in Australia to be a key speaker at this year’s United Nations (UN) category on Women and Child abuse.

“I just wanted to let you know that I have been invited to speak at the United Nations this year in New York, category on Woman and Child abuse,” said Mutami.

A lawyer and human rights activist, Professor Allison Mavi said the US was fully aware that Mutami’s case was largely a political settlement by the opposition Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) and that common rape is not an extraterritorial or universal jurisdiction offence unless done as a crime against humanity. With all this information at their disposal, the US government still decided to ignore it and invite Mutami so as to embarrass President Emmerson Mnangagwa and put pressure on his Administration.

“At first glimpse of the report, one is tempted to think that it is true, however, if you carefully place up your puzzle together, you will soon take notice that this claim is a political statement meant to injure President Mnangagwa’s campaign for a second term.

“Another point of concern is that common rape is not an extraterritorial or universal jurisdiction offence unless it is committed as a crime against humanity. Australia and the UN know that pursuing these claims in the courts will hit a brick wall, so again they intend on using UN category Woman and Child abuse as a platform to neutralise the Second Republics’ attempts to engage and re-engage the world. This will of course result in making the economy scream and the country ungovernable,” said Mavi.

These attacks on President Mnangagwa’s persona have been described by Mavi as similar to name calling a dirty propaganda tactic. Hate speech or unfounded accusations are made against a competitor so as to make the public despise the victim. This tactic plays with the emotions and often leads to vilifying the targeted victim.

The US and its allies have upped their game after taking note that the Second Republic has made economic reforms which have resulted in Zimbabwe being the fastest growing economy in Africa with a Gross Domestic Product (GDP) Growth Rate of 6.249% (2020) whilst under illegal sanctions.

According to Mavi, attacks on President Mnangagwa by Mutami, CCC, US and its allies are meant to suffocate the Head of State and neutralise his campaign strategies.
