Zimbabweans are gearing up for the 2023 presidential election, with incumbent President Emmerson Mnangagwa facing 10 other candidates.

According to people who spoke to this publication, President Mnangagwa is the only candidate who has a proven track record of delivering on his promises, and he is the best person to lead Zimbabwe into the future.

“President Mnangagwa has overseen a period of economic growth in Zimbabwe, and he has made significant progress in improving the country's infrastructure. He has also restored Zimbabwe's international standing, and he has opened up the country to foreign investment. He deserves our votes”, said Loice Mhere.

Gilbert Mujeri of Hurungwe said that Zimbabweans should not experiment with their future by voting for political amateurs.

“President Mnangagwa's opponents are all untested, and they do not have the same level of experience or expertise. They are also divided, and they do not have a clear plan for the future of Zimbabwe. It's better to stick with President Mnangagwa, a tried and tested leader”, said Mujeri.

Eneria Kampumpu of Goromonzi said that she had the belief that President Mnangagwa was the only candidate who could develop Zimbabwe and create a better future for its people. She urged all Zimbabweans to overwhelmingly vote for President Mnangagwa in the presidential elections slated for August 23 this year.

Meanwhile, President Mnangagwa and the ZANU PF party have lined up a series of provincial star rallies to market the party ahead of the 2023 elections. The rallies will be held in all 10 provinces of Zimbabwe, and they will be a chance for the party to showcase its achievements and mobilise support for its candidates.

The rallies are expected to be attended by thousands of people, and they will be a chance for the party to reach out to its traditional supporters as well as to new voters.

The party is expected to use the rallies to highlight its record in Government, including its economic policies, its infrastructure development projects, and its social welfare programmes.
