Geo Pomona Waste Management Private Limited has expressed its sincere appreciation to President Emmerson Mnangagwa for his pivotal role in fostering a favourable business environment for private enterprises.

 In a recent statement on his X handle, the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Chairman of Geo Pomona Waste Management Pvt Ltd, Delish Nguwaya, commended the President for creating conditions that support the growth of private businesses.

Nguwaya emphasized the significance of President Mnangagwa's initiatives in the Second Republic, highlighting the conducive atmosphere for businesses that are dedicated to providing sustainable solutions.

"President Mnangagwa's visionary policies have created an environment for thriving private businesses, and we are grateful for the support," expressed Nguwaya

Furthermore, Nguwaya underlined the transformative impact of these policies indicating how they have not only stimulated economic growth but have also allowed businesses like Geo Pomona Waste Management to flourish.

In addition, Mr. Nguwaya expressed his vision for the facilities, stating, "We are building this for the country and the youths around here. We hope the national team and visiting sports clubs can utilize this facility for their training sessions. Many countries have artificial turf, so when they come here, they will have the best preparations before embarking on their assignments."

Meanwhile, the transformative venture undertaken by Geo Pomona Waste Management has not only addressed environmental concerns but has also contributed to job creation, employing hundreds of individuals, aligning with the objectives of the National Development Strategy 1 (NDS1).

Moreover, Geo Pomona Waste Management achieved a significant milestone by obtaining a power generation license under section 42 of the Electricity Act (Chapter 13:19). This licence empowers the company to construct, own, operate, and maintain a 22 MW Energy Power Plant, contributing to the national grid.
