Geza flees the country, plans to lead demos remotely

A source speaking exclusively to this publication has revealed that expelled Zanu-PF Central Committee member, Blessed Geza has fled the country and is planning to remotely lead the demonstrations that he has scheduled for next Monday.

The source, who requested to remain anonymous, labelled Geza’s actions as cowardly and driven by his selfish political motives.

Geza, who was expelled from Zanu-PF for his involvement in subversive activities, has been vocal in his calls for unrest and mass protests.

However, the source disclosed that instead of leading the demonstrations from the front, Geza has chosen to operate from outside Zimbabwe, far removed from the very people he intends to rally.

This, according to the source, is a clear reflection of Geza’s selfish political agenda.

“He is a coward. Geza has fled the country and plans to orchestrate protests from a safe distance while putting other people in harm’s way. He wants to massage his political ego, but we are not going to allow him to use us as pawns for his selfish agenda,” the source said.

The source continued to emphasise that Zimbabweans will not be manipulated into marching for someone who is clearly more interested in personal gain than the country's well-being. Geza is on record for openly saying that he is pursuing a Cabinet position and the benefits related thereto such as body guards and sport utility vehicles (SUVs).

"We won’t go to the streets just to make Geza feel important. He is playing games with people's lives while hiding behind the safety of foreign soil," the source added.

Geza’s actions have raised alarm among political observers, who see them as a sign of desperation.

His call for demonstrations appears to be a last-ditch effort to remain relevant in the political scene, despite his growing irrelevance after his expulsion from Zanu-PF.

Meanwhile, the Government and law enforcement agencies have issued stern warnings about the dangers of participating in illegal demonstrations.

They have made it clear that any attempts to disrupt peace and order will be met with swift and decisive action.

Zimbabweans are being urged to remain peaceful and resist being manipulated by individuals like Geza, who seem more interested in furthering their personal political ambitions than addressing the country’s real challenges.
