Zanu PF Secretary for Administration who is also the Minister of Home Affairs, Dr Obert Mpofu who was standing in for President Emmerson Mnangagwa said all citizens were free to vote for their preferred leader without any fear of victimisation, harassment and intimidation.

Zanu-PF has taken a firm foothold ahead of the July 30 harmonised elections after it landed 46 wards in various local councils unopposed as opposition political parties failed to field candidates.

President Emmerson Mnangagwa has urged ZANU PF supporters to be peaceful during this election period for them to be victorious in the upcoming elections.

Speaking at a star rally at Pelandaba Stadium in Gwanda, the President said for the country to develop there was need for peace in the country.
