About 333 Teachers for Economic Development (Teachers4ED) graduated from the Herbert Chitepo School of Ideology over the weekend at Highfields High 1 in Harare.

The teachers drawn from Highglen District underwent a three day intensive capacitation program from the 24th to the 26th of February 2023, whose curriculum included the founding values, ethos and principles of ZANU PF.

Guest of Honour at the graduation ceremony themed Capacitation Program 2023, District Coordinating Committee (DCC2) Chairperson, Godwin Gomwe, commended the zeal by Teachers4ED and the tremendous strides being registered by Herbert Chitepo School of Ideology. He added that President Emmerson Mnangagwa acknowledges the efforts by the teachers.

Gomwe said “The President acknowledges your support and stands ready to receive such tremendous support from the teachers.”

He echoed ZANU PF’s continuous efforts to fulfil its 2018 electoral promises saying that Government would deliver the pledges it made to the teachers.

Meanwhile, the Herbert Chitepo School of Ideology was founded to inculcate and instil patriotism in the country’s citizenry. Lessons at the school are voluntary and graduands are presented with certificates of recognition upon completing any of the various courses offered at the institution.
