The Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) leader Nelson Chamisa, has left the country for the United States of America to source for funds for his sinking ship, the Harare Post has learnt.

Speaking to this publication, a source revealed that the clueless CCC party leader, Nelson Chamisa had left the country in a bid to source out funds for his party in preparation for the 2023 harmonised general elections.

"Chamisa has left the country for the United States of America (USA), to source funds for his sinking ship ahead of the 2023 elections. He left Fadzai Mahere as the interim leader of that party," said the source.

A political analyst, Linda Mabeka charged that Chamisa was a sellout and that his visiting to the USA was a clear testimony that he was in line with the American ideology and or American foreign policy of imposing sanctions on Zimbabwe.

"Nelson Chamisa is a sellout, his visit to the USA is a clear sign that he sides with Zimbabwe’s detractors. It is without a doubt that he is appealing for funds for his party which has been hit by financial turmoil.

“His actions indicate that his "kudira jecha" politics is not working, as he is not aware that the United Kingdom (UK) and the USA are now starting to believe that Zimbabwe is open for business, that is why the UK and European Union (EU) are exhibiting at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF)," said Linda Mabeka.
