Kasukuwere ploys presidential gimmick

The self-exiled former Zanu PF Political Commissar, Saviour Kasukuwere and his harsh tag, ‘#Tyson Wabantu’ proponents, are plotting to lure a self-styled Budiriro based prophet, Komborerai Munhovo of the Christ Freedom Ministries to push a pro-Kasukuwere character by revealing a prophecy that Kasukuwere will be the next Zimbabwean President, Harare post has learnt.

A source in the Kasukuwere circle revealed to this publication that in 2017, Munhovo revealed a prophecy that Kasukuwere will ascend to power with the help of the Zimbabwe National Army (ZNA).

“They are pushing Munhovo to reveal the same prophecy at his church’s national conference pencilled for November 2019, and capitalise on that prophecy on social media.

“Kasukuwere himself is keeping a low profile on this issue to appear as if he does not have any hand in it. Apparently the proponents of this idea are being led by former Minerals Marketing Company of Zimbabwe (MMCZ) employee Ntokozo John Msipha,” revealed the source.

According to the same source, Kasukuwere’s cartel is also planning to engage other prophets like Talent Chiwenga, Tawanda Chimwanza, Godfrey Zororo and Emmanuel Makandiwa to collaborate Munhovo’s prophecy.

“They want to capitalise on Makandiwa’s 2017 prophecy when he said the leader of this country would come from outside and would be without a party,” said the source.

Apparently Kasukuwere is self-exiled in South Africa following the resignation of former President, the late Robert Mugabe in November 2017.

However, another source who is the G40 cabal, who preferred anonymity, revealed that, the G40 cabal members are not in support of Kasukuwere’s political project.

According to contact who spoke to Walter Muzembe, the self-exiled G40 members are planning to come back and launch a political movement.

“Muzembi castigated Kasukuwere’s political move and considered it as premature. Other G40 members are not happy with his close association with the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) citing that the EFF is a politically immature party.

“G40 cabal engaged an opinion research organisation called IPSO to conduct a survey on the socio-economic and political situation in the country. They intend to use the findings to craft their manifesto”, revealed the source.
